The Journey to Success
SPX started in Muskegon, Michigan in 1912 as an automotive components supplier.
Through a series of acquisition and divestitures, we’ve transformed into a diversified global manufacturer with solutions ranging from cooling systems for all types of power plants, entertainment venues and other facilities to specialized tools for constructing wind turbines, diagnosing automotive issues and more. Today, with locations in more than 35 countries, we employ approximately 17,000 people and manufacture and market more than 100 brands.
